The warm and inviting Library is situated in the heart of the school and is a centre of learning and resources.  It helps to enrich and enhance our curriculum and holds an extensive range of fiction and non-fiction to support teaching of all departments, as well as the special interests of the children. The children's recommendations and requests are always carefully considered when new books are being ordered.

Learning is made relevant by the support of current topics and literature used in class lessons through the provision of books and websites. Pupils also come in with their teachers to make use of the books and computers we have in the Library. The Library is open every lunchtime for the children to read in the comfy corner, and change or renew their books.

The Librarian, Mrs Gardner, is assisted by Year 5 Library Assistants who are efficient, enthusiastic and always willing to help. Book events including Book Fairs, Book Swaps and World Book Day® are celebrated and supported by the staff and children alike.
