Year 1 Explore Brandon Marsh
The Year 1 children visited Brandon Marsh as part of their topic on Minibeasts and Habitats.
They explored the woodland, learning about the different types of trees and vegetation and creating art using natural materials. The children had lots of fun making wildflower seed balls.
Armed with magnifying glasses, the children searched for minibeasts, finding millipedes, a centipede and two newts! They also enjoyed bird spotting in the bird hide using binoculars!
The visit helped deepen the children's understanding of the environment, fostering a greater appreciation for nature.
