Anti-Bullying Week

This week, we have been supporting Anti-Bullying Week with the theme #ChooseRespect, aimed at empowering children and young people to take positive action against the harm and hurt caused by bullying.

Our Wellbeing Ambassadors organised activities throughout the week, including a Wellbeing Walk around the playground which brought together different year groups for a fun and energetic start to the day. There were many smiles as the children walked, skipped and sung their way around the playground! Well done to everyone who took part.

The children enjoyed coming to school in their odd socks for Odd Socks Day, celebrating what makes us all unique. There was a plethora of designs including Pokémon, Stitch, reindeer, penguins, stripes, spots and hearts to name a few.

Anti-Bullying Week concluded with an assembly from Mrs Whitehall about the importance of being kind to each other and respecting each other’s individuality.
