Applying to Warwick Preparatory School

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. To help, we offer a range of opportunities for you and your child to experience our school. We would like to invite you to arrange a personal tour of Warwick Preparatory School by contacting our Registrar on 01926 491545 or admissions@warwickprep.com.

You are also welcome to visit us during one of our Open Days. Dates and booking information are available on our dedicated pages.

Once you have decided that you would like to apply to Warwick Preparatory School, we will guide you through the application process, ensuring it is as smooth and straightforward as possible.

For both boys and girls, entry into the school usually begins in Nursery (3+) and Reception (4+). Occasionally, places become available in Year 1 and Year 2 so it is always advisable to contact the Admissions Team to discuss availability.

From Year 3 (7+), Warwick Preparatory School is girls-only, while boys, including those moving from Year 2, transition to Warwick Junior School, located across the campus.

The application process varies slightly depending on the year group.

Nursery (3+) and Reception (4+)

Step 1 - Register your child

Complete and return the registration form (PDF - 0.2 MB), together with the registration fee of £100 and a copy of your child's full birth certificate (which lists both parents), and passport, to admissions@warwickprep.com or The Registrar, Warwick Preparatory School, Banbury Road, Warwick, CV34 6PL.

If you wish to pay your registration fee over the phone, then please contact Finance on 01926 735414.

  • All registrations are recorded in the order in which the form and registration fee are received. Early registration is therefore recommended.
