Year 1's Antarctic Adventure
As part of their learning on Polar Lands, the Year 1 children welcomed Andrew Cooney, who was, at the time, the youngest person to walk to the South Pole.
The children enjoyed listening to stories of Andrew's Antarctic adventure, exploring his expedition equipment and learning how to put up a tent in a snow storm!
