Music Week at The Squirrels Nursery
It's been a week of musical marvels at The Squirrels Nursery this week as the children celebrated Music Week!
The excitement kicked off with a visit to the Warwick School Chapel, where Mr Hancock, Choral Director, treated the children to a captivating organ performance and showed them how to play. The children were absolutely enthralled, setting the perfect tone for a week of music.
On Tuesday, the Nursery children were treated to two performances. First, the talented musicians from King's High School's King's Strings took to the stage. This was followed by a delightful performance from the Year 6 Handbells group.
On Thursday, after attending the Chinese New Year workshop, the children heard a moving performance of 'Yesterday' by the King's High School's King's Clarinets. There was a lunchtime melodic feast as the children enjoyed listening to the Warwick Prep School Camerata group.
Music Week at The Squirrels Nursery has hit all the right notes and has truly inspired the children.
